Vintage Japanese lusterware cup and saucer dating to approximately the late 1920s or 1930s. Features a warm butterscotch yellow glaze with pearly gray lavender luster bands and crisp black accent lines for a distinctly Art Deco look.
Both pieces are marked Made in Japan. The porcelain is notably thin and becomes translucent when held to a strong light, as shown in the final photos.
