No one is sure how it happened, but about a year after I was adopted with my sibling, I ended up being surrendered to the Humane Society as a stray! Luckily for me, I had a microchip but no one was able to get a response from my owner after multiple attempts. It is not known what happened to my brother either; I hope he is okay wherever he is! So, here I am again, looking for a REAL furever home this time and I am only one and a half years old. I have the color of a Russian Blue with the brown nose and toe pads but my coat is not as plush. I am a fairly mellow guy and love attention. When I was a kitten, I lived with several other kittens in my foster home and would probably be okay with a friend to hang out and play with now too. Hi, I'm Virginia! I came to Mostly Mutts when I found myself in need of a new home. I was adopted for a couple of weeks, but it wasn't a good fit, so I'm back with Mostly Mutts looking for my new family. I hope to meet them very soon and start living a great life together! 

• OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I met dogs at Mostly Mutts and have made a great friend or two that are around my age and size, and we just love playing together in the MM play yard. I however didn't like the energy of a puppy, so if you have a friendly playful dog at home perhaps around my age and size, let's meet! / Cats unknown. / Best no kids.

• PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: The shelter is a lot for me to take in but I'm doing my best! I like it when the volunteers take things slowly with me and let me get to know them—then I'm just a love. I really enjoy my trainer and like spending time with her—she's a good leader. Speaking of a good leader, that's what I would like. Please don't treat me like a baby and carry me around as I love being a dog and want to be part of the whole family! I showed guarding behaviors of my person in the home of my temporary adoptive family while being carried. My trainer has worked with me on this, so just ask about that please and they will be very happy to share successful strategies for managing guarding behavior. I think I would be happiest in a calm and low traffic home without a lot of visitors. / Energy level: 3-5 at the shelter, but I think it will increase once I'm settled in my new home.    

• SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I'm in the Mostly Mutts University training program and look forward to learning a lot with my trainer! Check back soon to see what I've learned and let's continue my training with the free lifetime training classes that Mostly Mutts offers for all their adopted dogs! / I'm doing well in my crate at Mostly Mutts and slept well in it at my former home in their bedroom at night. They said that it seemed to be my decompression place—so I liked it. / I'm working on my potty manners, so I'll need my family to help me finish this training up.   

• LIKES/DISLIKES: I love belly rubs and gentle head scratches! I also really enjoy when people talk gently and give me a little extra time to get to know them. Once I'm comfortable with you, I love following my people around and being close by. I'm sure we'll discover lots more things we like doing together in our new home! / Being rushed scares me, so just give me some time, and like all dogs, I'm sure I wouldn't like it if I didn't get enough love, attention, exercise, and training.

• MEDICAL: I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed. I needed a dental cleaning and thankfully, Mostly Mutts has done that for me.

AMARETTI and her siblings (SNICKERDOODLE, MOCHA TRUFFLE, BISCOTTI and BUTTERSCOTCH) were left in a carrier with her mama COOKIE on a lady's doorstep in Murrieta, California. When notified, we found a foster and who took them in.


Meet AMARETTI, a young long-haired Torbie Maine Coon beauty from Murrieta, California, whose gorgeous coat and sweet personality make her a delightful little companion. This beautiful girl has had quite a journey from the very beginning. She arrived at just three weeks old with her mama, COOKIE, and four brothers after they were left together in a carrier on a doorstep. From those tender early days, AMARETTI has grown up surrounded by love in a caring foster home, where she has learned that people are wonderful friends.


Because AMARETTI has been lovingly socialized with people from such a young age, she is comfortable around her caregivers and enjoys being part of the action. She is okay with being carried, and when she is not busy investigating something exciting, she is happy to settle in for some snuggle time. She has a lovely balance of playful kitten energy and affectionate sweetness.


Give AMARETTI a furry ball, and she is ready for a game! She loves chasing her favorite toys and showing off her playful side. But this girl also has a wonderfully curious streak. Every now and then, she decides her water bowl looks like the perfect place for a little entertainment. A playful splash here, a curious paw there, and suddenly ordinary water time becomes an adventure.


With her luxurious long hair, beautiful Torbie coloring, and Maine Coon charm, AMARETTI is certainly easy on the eyes, but her personality is what makes her truly special. She can bring laughter with her playful antics, warmth with her snuggles, and plenty of companionship as she grows into the confident young cat she is becoming.

Volunteers are usually at PetSmart between 9 am to 1 pm for cleaning ONLY. The cats currently at PETSMART you are allowed to go visit.  VISITING HOURS: 5 pm - 8 pm (Monday thru Saturday) and Sunday 3 pm - 6 pm. The VOLUNTEERS are only there in the evening for 3 hours.. FOR HOLIDAYS email us or visit the cattery for VISITING HOURS. Most days are the same 3-hour shifts. It's based on volunteer availability and store hours.

Clover is a 12-week-old Golden Retriever/Lab-looking boy with an adorable face and a personality just as sweet! He is currently around 20 pounds and is expected to grow to about 50–60 pounds full grown. Clover is a playful, happy, easygoing puppy who loves being part of the action. He is learning quickly and is already doing really well with crate training. He is good with kids, cats, and other dogs and has that wonderful puppy personality that makes it very hard to resist just one more cuddle. Clover is playful when it is time to play, sweet when it is time to snuggle, and always ready to see what his people are up to. He is going to make one very special family dog!

Clover is neutered, vaccinated, heartworm negative, microchipped, and on parasite prevention. His adoption fee is $350.

Measure the amount of door track visible from the frame at one end to the point where the sliding door begins covering the track at the other end. Wayzn's sizing instructions call for rounding the measurement up to the nearest quarter inch.
