WHAT IT IS:
Striking vintage-style hand-beaded evening bag with an ornate floral and dimensional beadwork design. This unusual statement purse features a substantial antiqued gold-tone metal frame, pierced scrollwork detailing, rigid metal top handle, and a rhinestone-accented kiss-lock closure.

The exterior is richly embellished with multicolor beads and dimensional decorative elements. The beads have a cool, glass-like feel and the workmanship is remarkably detailed and uniform.

Inside is a beautiful light satin lining with a subtle woven stripe, finished with an interior slip pocket. A sewn-in tag reads Made in China.

The maker is unmarked. Based on the materials, construction and styling, I believe this is likely a late 1990s–early 2000s imported evening bag, but an exact production year has not been confirmed.

A gorgeous statement piece for a wedding guest, cocktail party, holiday event, formal evening, or collector of unusual beaded handbags.

CONDITION:
Very good preowned condition. Beadwork presents beautifully overall. Metal frame and handle are substantial and attractive with normal signs of previous ownership.
