Sign-in Help

A code works once, for 15 minutes. After 5 wrong codes, wait 15 minutes. A landline cannot get texts, and Sellwild tells you so on the code screen within about 30 seconds.

Get a new code

Under Verify, click Send a new code. A new code goes to the same email or phone, and the button changes to New code sent. You stay on the code screen, so type the new code into the same boxes. The button comes back after a minute.

To send the code somewhere else, click Use a different number or email under it. That takes you back to the first screen with your email or phone number still in the box. Change it and click Continue.

Codes are spaced a minute apart. Ask again too soon and you see "We just sent you a code. Use that one, or request a new one in 42 seconds." with the real number of seconds.

For an email code, check your spam folder first. The subject is Your Sellwild verification code.

When a text cannot arrive

After a code goes to a phone, Sellwild checks with its text service whether it arrived. If it cannot arrive, the reason shows under the code boxes within about 30 seconds.

Every message ends the same way: use another number, or type your email address instead. See the table below for each one.

When a code is refused

"That code isn't right. Check it and try again." shows under the boxes and the boxes clear. Check the digits and type them again.

A code that is too old, or was already used, gets "That code has expired. Send a new code." instead. Typing it again will not work. Click Send a new code.

After 5 wrong codes in 15 minutes the account stops taking codes: "Too many wrong codes for this account. Wait 15 minutes and try again, or use the sign-in link in your email."

A code belongs to the address or number it went to. If you change the box after the code was sent, you see "Your code went to" that address, and have to send a new code.

Use the link in the email

An email code comes with a sign-in link. Open it on the device you want to sign in on, then click Continue to Sellwild.

If a sign-in with one of these fails, Sellwild shows a page that says why, with Try again when trying again can help. We didn't get your email address means the company did not share it. Allow email when it asks, or sign in with a code. Account suspended has no way back in from that page; contact support.
