Each checkbox saves the moment you click it. Order and shipping emails are always on. Every other email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom that turns off just that kind.
Open your notification settings
Open My Account from your photo at the top right, then click Notifications in the account menu. The page is Notification Preferences. There is no save button: a checkbox is saved as soon as you click it.
What each checkbox sends

These checkboxes only change email. The bell at the top of the page still counts new messages and sales.
Get a digest
- Turn on the digest
Click Chat digest or Discount performance digest. Daily is picked for you.
- Pick Daily or Weekly
The choice sits under the checkbox, next to Digest frequency:.
- Pick when it comes
Send it: sets the hour, and the day too for Weekly. The line under it names your time zone, read from your browser.
Both digests share one delivery time. Changing it under one changes the other.
A digest skips any day with nothing to report. Chat digest does not stop New message emails. For the summary alone, turn New message emails off.
Unsubscribe from one email
Optional emails end with "Don't want these emails? Unsubscribe from this one." The link needs no sign-in. It clears the checkbox behind that email and nothing else.
The page names what stopped. To undo it, tick the box again here.
Emails you can't turn off
Receipts, order status and tracking emails keep buyer and seller in step, so both boxes are ticked and locked. Sign-in codes always send too.
