Some orders arrive with no prepaid label, because the buyer paid before we had your address. You can get one from the order page. Sellwild pays for it, and you pick from the services that cost no more than the buyer paid toward postage. Nothing is bought until you choose.
Why an order has no label
A prepaid label needs a USPS price at checkout, and USPS needs your address to give one. If you had no address on file when the buyer paid, they paid an estimated shipping amount and no label was set up. You fix that from the order, after you approve it.
Buy the label
- Open the order
In Sales, click Accepted, then Manage on the order.
- Get rates
Click Buy a shipping label. The button reads "Getting rates..." while we ask USPS.
- Pick a service
Under Choose a service, each line shows the service, how many days it takes and its price. Sellwild pays for the label, so only services that cost what the buyer paid toward shipping, or less, are listed. If every service costs more, only the cheapest is listed and Sellwild covers the difference. The cheapest is picked for you.

- Buy it
Click Buy this label. You see "Label bought. You can print it now." and Print Ship Label takes the button's place.
Never mind closes the list without buying anything. From here, print and ship as in Ship an Order.
When it asks for your address
With nothing on file, you get a prompt in place of prices.
- Add it here
Click Add your address. The address form opens on the same page, so you do not lose the order.
- Save it
Fill it in and click Save address. Buy a shipping label comes back.

What goes on the label
The return address is your default address, with the name on it. USPS also wants a phone number. We print the one on your account, or Sellwild's number if your account has none, so a carrier with a question about the package calls us.
The label prints in your Label Format. The package is the one set on the listing, or your default packaging. Both are on your Shipping settings.
