Sellwild pays you through Stripe. Set it up once from Wallet, fix anything the card flags, and your listings get Buy Now. Your share reaches Stripe when you approve an order, and Stripe pays your bank daily.
Set up payouts
- Open your wallet
Open your account and pick Wallet in the side menu. Until you are set up, Wallet shows a 1.
- Pick your country
The card reads Not set up. Under Country, pick where your bank is.
- Start setup
Click Set up payouts. Stripe opens its own form.
- Fill in Stripe's form
Stripe asks for your name, date of birth, home address, Social Security number and bank account. Sellwild never sees your SSN or ID. If your Sellwild account is a business account, Stripe also asks for your business tax ID and owners.
- Come back
When you finish, Stripe sends you back to your wallet.
Once you have a listing, a Complete your verification box also pops up around the site. Its Get Verified button skips the wallet and opens Stripe with the country of your default address. After you post a listing, the success box has a Get Your Earnings button that opens the wallet.
Finish what Stripe asks for
Stripe often needs a second pass. The card then reads Setup unfinished and counts what is left, such as "2 things left". Each item is in plain words, like A bank account to receive payouts or A photo of your government ID.
Click Finish setup to go back to Stripe's form where you left it. After you send something, click Check again to read your status from Stripe without reloading the page. Updated under the button says when it last checked.
Fix something Stripe rejected
When Stripe cannot verify what you sent, the card reads Action needed. Each problem shows what went wrong, Stripe's own reason, and what to do. For example, "That ID has expired" comes with "Upload a current, unexpired ID."
An item Stripe needed by now is marked Overdue. The card then gives the date: "Stripe pauses this account on Oct 8 if it isn't sorted."
Click Fix this now. It opens Stripe's form at the part that needs correcting, so you do not start over.
What each status means

If the card says This payout account is disconnected, the Stripe account was cut off on Stripe's side. Click Set up payouts again to connect a new one.
When buyers see Buy Now
Buy Now appears as soon as Stripe lets your account take card payments, even before your bank payouts are on. Until then, buyers see Contact Seller. A listing that is not set to ship always shows Contact Seller.
The same check turns on the rest of your seller page:
- Your listing cards show a Verified check mark.
- Your storefront at sellwild.com/s/your-username opens. Before that, it sends visitors to the home page with "This seller was not found".
- Your name on a listing links to that storefront.
- Your listings rank higher in search.
If Stripe later turns off payments on your account, all of this goes away until the card is fixed.
When the money arrives
- A buyer pays. Their card is held, not charged.
- You click Approve on the order within 7 days. The card is charged and your share goes to your Stripe balance. See Approve the order.
- The money shows as still settling until Stripe clears it.
- Stripe pays cleared money to your bank every day, on its own.
If Approve says "Your payout account is not properly configured. Please reconnect your Stripe account.", open your wallet and follow what the card says, then approve again.
