Open Discounts in your account to make and manage every discount. Coupons take money off at checkout, BOGO promotions reward buyers who come back, and timed discounts lower a price on a schedule. A discount only works on the listings you attach to it.
Open Discounts
Open your account and pick Discounts in the sidebar. On a phone, open the account menu at the top first.
The page has two parts. Coupons holds your coupons and BOGO promotions. Timed Discounts holds your scheduled price drops. Each part starts with ready-made presets. A preset is hidden once you have a discount of the same type and amount.
Which discount to make

Read a card
A coupon card shows the amount off, the name and the code. The line under the name says how buyers get it, how many listings it is on, and how many times it was used. A BOGO card counts rewards issued and redeemed instead.
A timed discount card reads left to right: how much each drop takes off, how often it drops, which drop it is on, how many listings it covers, the lowest price it goes to if you set one, and when it drops again (Next Drop).
Attach it to listings
A new discount is on no listings, so it does nothing yet. Its card warns No listings next to an Add listings button.
Press Add listings or Listings to pick them. See Choose Listings for a Discount.
Pause, edit or delete
- Pause
Pause stops a discount without losing it, and Resume starts it again. A paused coupon reads Inactive and checkout refuses it. A paused timed discount reads Paused, and its listings keep the price they have.
- Edit
Edit opens the form again. Save Changes keeps what you changed.
- Delete
Delete asks first. Press Confirm Delete to go ahead. A deleted discount is gone for good, and a deleted timed discount puts its listings back to full price.
A coupon past its End Date reads Expired. A timed discount that has run its course reads Completed.
Where buyers see it
An automatic coupon or a timed discount changes the price buyers see, with no code. A code coupon shows nothing until the buyer enters it at checkout. See What buyers see. In My Listings, rows with a discount carry a Coupon or Rules badge.
